Silverfin is slow, what can you check?

Silverfin is made up in a complex way with many changing variables that need to be pushed through to different areas. Therefor slowness can be caused by many different things and the search for a cause can be a lot like looking for a needle in a haystack.

When sending us a mail about Silverfin being slow, please add the following information:

  • 1.     Your operating system (Windows 7/Windows 10/Mac OS X/…)
  • 2.     Your browser (Chrome/firefox/Safari/Edge/Explorer/…)
    Note: Silverfin works best with Chrome/Firefox/Safari!
  • 3.     URL of the page where you experience slowness.
  • 4.     Make a video (preferred by screencapture, but if this isn’t possible a video from your phone is fine too, as long as it is clear) or Describe the slowness (filling in dates/input/loadbar/…)

It is also good to check with your colleagues if they experience the same issue. You can also check if your internet speed is causing the slowness (you can check this on fast.com)

It is important to note that when you experience slowness that you send us as much information as possible so that we can pinpoint exactly what is causing this. The more information we get, the easier it is for us to start working on a solution!
