Check out some new designs: April 2020
New Pulse design (already live)
You all hopefully are aware of the new communication inbox that we deployed recently, we hope you'll find this a great addition to Silverfin. As with any new functionality we deploy, we're keen to have your feedback, so feel free to pass comments to your CSM once you've collated comments from your firm.
We just want to highlight that we also made a change to the Pulse (client portal) to update it with a similar design, so that your external pulse users will have a more familiar inbox concept when they log in to the Pulse. There is an option to switch to the old pulse design at the bottom of the screen should they want to do that while they are getting used to the new design.
The only change to functionality is the ability for your pulse users to add a message to start a conversation with you (one of your team must be following the file for that to be effective).
New style for input cells with defaults (will be live Monday)
We're updating the way input cells containing defaults look while they still contain the default value. Our reasoning is that if something has a default value, it shouldn't be that inviting to edit so should look visually more subtle, as more often than not it will not need to be changed. The new design for text inputs with unedited default text is now underlined text with no visual input cell (which you can click on to edit). On the other hand if a default is changed, that's a manual input, so that should be very obvious it's been edited, in this case we use the existing input cell design with an orange corner so your attention is drawn to it. Examples of before and after can be seen below.
As always, if you have any feedback or questions, please let us know!
