How to assign an account template
Account templates are SIlverfin's way of making your life a bit easier when reconciling account codes!
In short, an account template defines the layout reflected when reconciling accounts. Depending on the account template assigned, this may automate which values pull through from the income statement/balance sheet, provide guidance on what needs user input and provides a user-friendly structure to ensure you are able to complete your work efficiently.
As Admin users, you can set up which account templates are set to the account codes in your CoA by reading this article.
As a user, if you would like to change/add an account template, here's how to do it:
1) Select the relevant account. Once on the account page click 'Edit':
